Today our wee fae babe is a year and a half in earth years. She reigns supreme... almost! As you can see the fairy queen grandmum has given her royal charge training in crown wearing etiquette.
There are days when Aowyn's beauty is beyond our comprehension ...
Often our little fairy princess gets a magical kick out of herself!
Grandpa's band 'Hectic Red' still mesmerizes her with his music along with 'The Beatles', Elmo, and Abby. Now she is beginning to make word sounds and mimic everything, especially songs. Oh and she regularly gets an attack of the "happy feet" and dances!
Off the charts in height, she looks more like a three year old child when next to babies her age. Still she retains her baby squishy-ness. And who can resist adorable baby chunk legs to squeeze?
It is a hard job keeping up with an active toddler! Even so, the rewards are dished out in joy. So after spending eighteen months with our girl, we can say Aowyn's spirit is feisty and loving, but most of all...the wee princess is the silliest person we know!

ReplyDeleteHaving a grand child around all the time is very tiring, but it is possible with age to appreciate the moments even more...that seems to be what happens. Plus the cuteness rules your world!
